Pension Zonnenberg | Surroundings


The Zonnenberg Pension is located in the centre of Arnhem in the "Burgemeesterswijk". This area is composed of stately buildings from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The Bouriciusstraat is a quiet street, almost exclusively to local traffic. Across the street is a large playground. In 2 minutes you can walk to Central Station Arnhem!


The Sonsbeek park begins at the bottom of the street. This park is owned by the municipality Arnhem since 1899 Arnhem. You can start your walk at the Visitor Centre near the Watermill where much documentation about the park is available. Often there are organized walks. In the park you will find the water-museum, perfect for a visit with children, but also very interesting for the grown-ups. Special attractions are the waterfall and the Belvedere tower, which offers wonderful views over Arnhem and its surroundings.


The heart of Arnhem is 4 minutes walking distance. The city of Arnhem is famous for its variety of shops. In 2007, Arnhem was named Dutch Inner City of the Year! Also there are many different restaurants, bars, museums, cinemas and theatres. In Arnhem there is always something to do.
